  • Licenses and Certifications:  New Jersey (and/or other states) Property and Casualty Insurance license.  Surplus Lines license a plus, but not required, CPCU or other designations, preferred but not required.
  • Education:  BA/BA Business Related degree preferred, but not required.
  • Computer Proficiency:  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook.  Understanding of agency management systems. 

The Account Manager is primarily responsible for supporting New Day Underwriting in acquiring a wide spectrum of clients through marketing New Day's insurance products.

Essential Functions

  • The Account Manager will work directly under the supervision of a consultant  to support the production of environmental and construction related professional liability insurance.
  • The Account Manager will assist in developing client proposals, analysis and presentations as required.
  • The Account Manager will ensure new account information is accurately entered into the agency management system and client is advised on the status of submissions.
  • The Account Manager will issue all documents related to new account acquisition, including, but not limited to invoices, binder confirmation, policy tracking, proofing and delivery.
  • The Account Manager will administer and monitor surplus lines rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations.  Assist in creating New Day standard operating procedures.
  • The Account Manager will provide assistance with coverage questions and program adjustments; solve problems with regarding client account issues.
