Position Overview:
The Client Services Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day servicing and satisfaction of employee benefits and financial services clients, upselling and new business development. This position will be based in Westborough, MA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise the call center to foster customer relationships in retaining accounts and up and cross-selling additional products and services, and sales prospects
- Consultatively sells the carrier product portfolio directly to customers, and retention accounts
- Coordinate preparation of proposals, responses to complex RFPs, financial and account reporting and sales presentations
- Train and mentor staff on new products/or updates on current products and services in providing high level of customer service
- Coordinate smooth transition of new accounts into the retention department
- Assist with renewal processes for multiple customers simultaneously requiring analytical and policy interpretation, independent problem solving and issue resolution
- Manage and lead implementation of special accounts via our enrollment portal including building and testing the portal site and writing out procedural documents and training material for staff and clients
- Oversee data entry and tracking duties, prepare monthly reports and assist in marketing programs
- Supervise commission tracking, premium billing and collection duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 4-7 years related insurance agency experience
- Ability to work independently and multi-task, in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Display leadership, teamwork and professionalism in all interactions internally and externally
- Demonstrate keen industry knowledge and experience
- Exceptional attention to detail, reliability and organizational skills
- Strong consultative selling, influence decision making, negotiation and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience with insurance agency management, client portal and reporting systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Life, Accident and Health License requirement – P&C, 63 and 66 licenses a plus
